Why The Boyd Initiative?

The Media and Advertising industry lacks diversity. We have systemic compensation, culture, and inclusion issues. And we don't recruit enough Black talent.

Why? Because Black college students and recent graduates are not exposed to opportunities in the advertising and media industry. A predominantly White industry hires predominantly White people.

I believe we can attract more Black talent via a fun, relevant, and rewarding media and advertising training and networking program.
